Getting to Kefalonia

Flying to Kefalonia

You can fly to Kefalonia direct on charter flights during the summer season of May to October from most major airports in the UK and depart on Sundays with the flight time approximately 3 hours. The airport is known as Kefallinia (‘EFL’). Kefalonia can be reached by scheduled flights from many international airports via Athens (‘ATH’). Scheduled  flights direct to Athens operate several times a day on Olympic, British Airways, Virgin Atlantic & Easyjet. Daily flights are effectuated to and from Athens and the flight time is of about 45 minutes.

  •      The port of killini (1hr 15 min, about an hour south of Patras)
  •      Kylinli (on Peloponnese) – Kefalonia (Argostoli, west of the Island)
